DESCRIPTION:For many Aquidneck Islanders\, the Broadway Street Fair is a much-anticipated\, fun\, community event. It is a way for locals to reconnect with friends and neighbors following the busy summer season. Plus\, it generates much needed revenue for businesses in the area\, gives nonprofits an opportunity for community outreach\, and supports local artisans and performers. \nOctober 10\, 2026 marks the 9th annual celebration of the Local Broadway District and we are hopeful for your support. There were over 15\,000 attendees in 2025 that enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of music\, food and shopping. RI PREVCON 2026— Community Roots\, Resilient Futures: A Conference on Connection & Prevention reflects our shared commitment to strengthening communities\, fostering meaningful connections\, and building proactive strategies that support prevention and long term resilience. In addition\, RI-PREVCON 2026 will offer attendees an opportunity to network with colleagues from other disciplines and share best practices across the lifespan.

DESCRIPTION:Voices of Affirmation is a gender affirming voice training program for transgender and non-binary Rhode Islanders. It is hosted online via Discord. It is 6 sessions long and occurs biweekly with one exception due to a holiday. The training is being offered by The Vocal Team\, who advertises themselves as transgender coaches for transgender people.
